Dr. Joshua R. Chapa is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Chapa completed his dental and specialty training in Periodontics and Implantology at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Masters in Science (M.S.). Previously, he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he taught clinical implantology to graduate residents. Dr. Chapa is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and he has remained active as a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, and the Southwest Society of Periodontists.
Dr. Chapa is originally from Corpus Christi, TX, and still enjoys visiting his family there. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, theater, and taking his dog for walks and spending time with his family.
